This stool is replica of the milking stools which have been used in our region for centuries. Its rustic look is making it proper for decoration of your house, but if you want to use it to sit, or step on it, don't hesitate it's strong too. The seat is made from pine wood, the legs are made from mulberry tree branches. Following the traditional technology, the wood has been charred in order to increase strength and protection against wood destroying insects. Finished with waterborne satin varnish, the stool is smooth to touch and very easy to clean.
The Handmade traditional bulgarian milking stool is evocative, to say the least, but that's why you're drawn to it in the first place.
